Welcome to Eayrs Angus Ranch!

Thank you for your support in our 2024 sale!

Registered Herd

The registered herd was started in 1962 by Dorothy and Dutch Eayrs with the purchase of six registered cows at Glasgow Stockyards. They were Bandolier bloodlines.

In 1963 five bred heifers and a bull were bought from Russ Denowh and Joe Gartner of GDAR. From then on our replacement heifers were home raised.

Sale History

We sold our bulls private treaty for many years. In 2003 we held our first auction at Glasgow Stockyards, and have continued for 20 years. Due to having started our business in Valley County, we have many much-appreciated repeat buyers there.

Moving Ahead

Logan, Mark, Paul and family are very excited for the future of our program. We are thankful for the previous generation of Eayrs that started, grew, and built our outfit, but we are also eager to grow and improve the cattle we raise and sell. We would like to thank our great customers, many of which have been with us for decades.

2024 Catalog below.

We have always had a goal of raising gentle, hardy cattle and keeping birth weights moderate.

Monte was a true believer in longevity. To have a cow reach the age of 10+ and still produce at a high level is a goal that we strive to achieve with all of the cattle that we raise. Many of our ranch raised sires had dams that produced well past 10 years of age.

A special thank you to our loyal customers that have been with us through thick and thin, droughts and floods, and good times and bad. Without you, none of this would be possible.
